Aberfeldy sits almost exactly in the centre of Scotland. The local area can boast Perthshire’s highest mountain; Scotland’s longest river; and longest glen. You can experience the unspoilt character, charm and warm hospitality of this small Scottish town surrounded by the mountains and glorious landscapes of Highland Perthshire. Visitors can enjoy the ‘Birks of Aberfeldy’, the famous nature walks where Roberts Burns wrote some of his best known poems.

Aberfeldy offers a wide range of sporting activities. There are four excellent golf courses in the area. For the more adventurous there are many opportunities for rock climbing, white water rafting, canoeing, hillwalking and mountain biking. Beyond Adventure offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Splash, Free Spirit and Dunolly House offer rafting amongst a wide range of activities. Dunolly House also have a climbing wall and a high ropes course. There are also tennis courts and a bowling green.
The Aberfeldy recreation centre offers a great range of activities and classes as well as a 25m swimming pool, sauna, gym and jacuzzi. There are two beautiful gardens in Aberfeldy - Bolfracks Gardens and Cluny Gardens.

There is the unique opportunity to take a Highland Adventure Safari, an exclusive adventure into a secret Scotland to heights of 3000 feet with the chance of seeing eagles, deer, arctic hares, grouse and stunning scenery.

There is a good range of local restaurants and coffee shops for all tastes and budgets.

Well worth a visit is Castle Menzies a 16th century castle and next door you will find The House of Menzies which specialises in new world wines, contemporary art and a wonderful coffee shop.
